Hey :D

I went Blood Magic and I'm having a Blast !!
The only thing I need to work on are my Resistances

Here's my Gear(which I need to upgrade -boots,gloves,etc-):



I run with Grace+Anger+Wrath+Hatred :)
I am leveling a Purity Gem, just in case I will need it in shitty situations ^^`

My build:


I have 5500 Armor. And 6700 Armor with Molten Shield(lvl11)
I have 3103 HP( I will have much more soon) and 1000 of it is reserved XD

But I have like 168 Hp/Sec, I am running with 2%Life Leech from passives,6%Life Leech from Gem, 6%Life Leech from Curse.

Leap Slam is my AOE ...of course.
Heavy Strike my one target attack.
Lightning Strike is my Ranged attack for when I don't want to get close to my target Enemy.

I go with 2 HP pots, 2 Quicksilver Flasks and 1 Granite. I do keep one extra HP pot in my inv ^^`

Update: I am lvl 65 and I killed the Bandits every Difficulty for Skill Points :P

Molten Shield? Do alot of you guys use that? My armor is only 1700. I might try that.

This is what i thought of for my Leap Slam Mara, got a few questions tho.

1. Is the increased area of effect radius worth it or would i be better of spending these points elsewere?

2. I'm at lvl 49 now and alrdy got some minor mana problems, would it be a good idea to got for % max mana, - mana cost on skills, -mana reserved or a combination of any of these 3?

There is a unique Maul that gives mana leech. VideHome I think it's called, something close to that.

If you know how to abuse leap slam to hit mobs while being out of there attack range it's worth it lol

1. it may not be the biggest dps increase to get points in increased AOE but its a pretty big quality of life improvement. i take it just because it makes slamming a bit more enjoyable since i have more room for error. also when the servers lag its nice to know that you dont need to be on target in order for your hits to register :p

2. mana leech. i run 2 auras and have just 2% mana leech and its enough to keep me from ever running oom. i dont even have a mana potion slot. i'm 60+ and do decent damage so 2% mana leech is enough for me, but i think youd be just fine at ~50

and on a bit of a sidenote, TY pohx for making this thread and keeping it active. i've played several different builds and characters, but leap slam facerolling entire rooms is the most fun ive had in this entire game.

I still thought it was always hp, i made the mistake of grabbing 12% physical damage, without even knowing the other two rewards, assume its spell or ele damage or something. My build could possibly be better with the skill point as some others could too. But 40 hp is a given.

Im new and using this build and loving it! But I did want to know why you grabbed the 1 22% increased totem life node?

Alot of people like to run Decoy Totem, the 22% life for 1 point is well invested if it suites your play style
