Actually the "Fetish Shamsns" what is known to look like dead babies, are the native to the jungle in act 3, If I remember correctly(even most vet of vet Diablo 2 players are not interested in the lore) What happened was that the dark wanderer(corrupted hero aka diablo) brought evil into the jungle.


IF you speak to the voodoo practicing dude in town "Ormus" he will tell you about how the jungle became corrupted. The "Fetish shamsns" did not always looked like dead babies.

To be honest, I'm pretty indifferent on the matter, but I'd probably have to side with the "leave them out" group, for the sole purpose that it might offend somebody enough to make them not want to play anymore.

Know that they don't really bother me that much, however they don't really add much to the game either. A game shouldn't try too hard to be grimdark, it comes across as cheesy at a certain point.
