I want the alternate skin to be sheep.

I want a nature theme for minions.

Others have suggested a demonic theme.

Being that zombies require a corpse, there's a bit of an immersion issue... You could logic that a wolf would require a meal, hence the requirement of a corpse... or a demon require a host, hence the corpse... but why would you need a corpse to summon a statue?

We have statues for skeletons, so we should have something demonic like that for zombies too, otherwise it would be to mixed up if we have 2 totally different themes. Furthermore spectres are the monsters that are in this world. Animal themes wouldn't fit in a party with statues/skeleton and spectre monsters.

For Zombies I could imagine ghost like creature with a dark appearence which leave a small shadow trail behind when moving.

Wouldn't mind seeing zombies having the skin of:

Pirate theme: all skeletons and zombies look like pirates
Christmas theme: all look like santa and elves
Carnaval theme: all look funky and sassy

I think the sheep suggestion was a joke, Ace (at least I viewed it that way). :-)

I wouldn't complain if they even simply copied the skeleton statues or paired it (i.e. statue skin applicable to both skeletons and zombies). It would just be nice to have the option of BUYING something that's not gruesome like the current ones (they literally make me queasy if I stare at 'em... which actually is a compliment to the graphic designers).
