I recommend Summoner.

It has a slightly rough start, but has very low gear requirements to stomp end game.

Some people find it boring, but make a culling skill like a Culling Spork and you get a lot more interaction.

Hell, I bet Flameblast and Storm Call are solid on Summoners.
