Trade Channel is getting out of hands.

Playing wow I used a really great addon called Spamhthrottle which was very lightweight, what it did was recognize duplicate messages and suppress them for 10 minutes (configurable) so unless the message changed, you never had to see the same message twice as Stormscale trade is preeettymuch on the same level of monkeys howling and flinging poop around as the trade channels are in PoE. There is a 2 messages per 10-30 seconds limit to the chat channels in wow but trust me it's prettymuch a bandaid solution that only helps with a certain kind of spam.
Another function I really liked was that when you report someone for spam, it temporarily ignores them for 10 minutes or so, means you don't have to clutter your ignore list with spammers.

But OP, whenever I feel like using the trade chans, this is pmuch what's been a working solution for me

1. Join trade
2. /clear_ignore_list
3. Ignore everyone who pisses you off by spamming duplicate messages (and report them if you are angry and bitter like me) or don't have anything to offer and you're tired of seeing their crap for the 5th time around
4. Repeat until Ignore list full
5. Go to 2.

Well I use xyz 99 percent of the time but when you want fusings and to snipe quick deals it's sitting because EACH CHANNEL you go to people just script change and post the same garbage again.

thanks for the ignore list clear. Didn't know that command existed our of the 99 ones I knew lol.

I do believe a in game crafty system should be implemented similar to maple story but without the player to player shop.

Why not a "classifieds" sort of system (a la Magic the Gathering: Online)? Not an auction house, not a store front, but something like the party system set exclusively for trades? I mean fuck, that's what people are already using the notice board for anyway, why not create one specifically for that?

It becomes especially irritating when trade chat is so jammed, people are knowing using general chat to sell crap. Not enough mods monitoring chat to stop it, so that has become a spam fest now as well.

Trade is working as intended.
