Trade Channel is getting out of hands.

As I browse through trade chat I can't help to notice each time I change channels there is the same person over and over spamming his items all day in hope that someone will buy it instead of posting it on shops and xyz.

To mitigate this simple solutions could be implemented

1) SLOW MODE - You can only post in one trade channel once per minute in one channel or all channels. I'm quite sick and tired of seeing the same guy asking to sell his searing touch each second line while I'm looking for other things.

What other ideas are out there?

dont use trade channel for items, only for currency exchange or quick gem buys.

Your eyes will bleed when you look to long at this channel... believe me...

I needed to buy a new pair of eyes yesterday in my local supermarket, the "old" ones was just... done.


Trade System isnt kewl in PoE. Hope it get adressed "soon" (no blizzard soon)

2) Never use the trade chat.
3) Use everything but the trade chat.
4) Avoid the trade chat at all cost.
5) Consider never joining the trade chat.
6) Use the board (inb4 moar hate) + poe.xyz

This, repeat step 1-5 every Time "trade chat" cross your Mind.

Also if you do have to use trade chat for any reason, report for spam all the people who think it's necessary to post the same line in the same channel 5 times in a row in under a second.

I really don't know why GGG doesn't implement 5s trade chat cooldown or something, because people spam channels like crazy. You can barely see anything there, it becomes less and less usable.

This game REALLY needs improved trading system, not as powerful as AH but much better then this crap we're having now.


Maybe small, local (100-200 ppl) AH (trading post) that keeps your items only while you're o/l?

Yes, this is the one unfun factor in this game ATM. Trading is rough ingame, and forum trades are just very time consuming looking through dozens and dozens of threads. I would personally like to see something like EQ's old market atleast for trading. make it online only though, i think thats one thing that really hurt D3 economy.

Next patch will bring four new uniques (3 designed by our eternal supporters), a new skill and 2 new mirotransactions, but no way a simple cooldown timer on trade chat spam, because using scripts to spam your shyt non-stop over 99 channels is hardcore.
