PoE wins d3

The funny thing is they are selling a "deluxe edition" of the x-pack that includes 3 more character slots and it costs $60, $20 more than a regular version. So they basically want $20 from you for 3 additional character slots. That's fucking hilarious, in my opinion.

Honestly there is no point besides mueling to have more then 6 character slots
i'm excited for the d3 expansion and plan to play it like crazy.

PoE would have my undivided gaming attention if the desync wasn't so bad. I feel trapped into playing only a small handful of specs that do not rely on quick timing, positioning, and evasive movements so the game is very bland to me.

hardcore and softcore.

also, I like to have benched hardcore characters ready to go if my main dies. As the main character gets upgrades, the backup gets the hand-me-downs so that character is always one gear set behind the main and dying isn't a big deal.

and a pet companion, 3 different helm skin changing things, 3 different weapon skin changing things and in game goodies for other games.

PoE's cheapest options for those equivilent digital goods: 3 cheapest weapon effects: $6, 3 cheapest helm effects: $15, 3 character slots: $9, cheapest pet: $.50. Grand total: $30.50.

Let's be at least a little fair when talking about what blizzard is offering for the extra $20 digital deluxe.

So 40 dollars for the same boring gameplay and crappy itemization.
Sounds good enough for blizzard.

Well,i love poe much more then d3 but u can't say poe has better itemization and more smooth combat than d3.. d3 itemization is far better. At least there is CRAFTING unlike here..
Orbs arent crafting.. They are just scam gamble.

jhust my 2 cents

Dude, apart (usless) legendaries and hellfire ring, crafting is 100% random in D3 too... It's only MUUUUUUUUUUUCH easier to craft something decent. Honestly, it's TOO easy to craft something decent.. you can literally craft an endgame shoulder in 3-4 tries...

Blizzard WILL be forced to change their business practices after this flop. I really don't think it will sell very well, right? I mean, there can't be THAT many suckers in this world?

Do you seriously think that RoS will not sell?
Blizzard could sell poop and make more money than GGG does.
They have their name out there, tons of people know about Blizzard and not everyone is a hardcore ARPG gamer. There are actually people who enjoy D3. Unbelievable, right?

That being said, I'm not one of them and so far there's nothing about RoS that sounds interesting to me in the slightest. So I most likely won't buy it.

I know the Blizzard name carries a lot of weight, but I feel like their reputation has been pretty well tarnished at this point.

Many people feel ripped off by the total lack of content and step backwards D3 took with the series. I'm not sure people are willing to shell out another $40 for content that should've been there in the first place. I mean, this isn't Blizzard's first rodeo... no excuse for the way D3 turned out.

I was actually one of the unfortunate ones who thought that "hey, it's blizzard, they can never make a bad game" and a decision that still haunts me today, I went and bought the collector's edition of D3.

Never I've been more disappointed in my purchase than with that POS game that promised the heavens and gave me the hells.
I wish I could say the same, I did buy D3 CE, but I've also bought the CE's of SWTOR and Hellgate london which was worse.

Woe be to me

poe supporters can't say much about diablo fans wanting to buy RoS without sounding extremely hypocritical. People have spent hundreds and thousands of dollars on POE for God's sake! Worry about your own finances before you worry about someone elses. If RoS looks decent and playable, I'll probably pick it up. Other than EA, I'm not going to purposely avoid a company just because of what they've done in the past.

What I don't get is that if you support GGG then you are "admirable" and have "high morals" for doing such. Sorry but..at some point of time in this game you'll have to buy stash tabs (I spent $20 on them so far) but really I need to buy another bundle (I got mine on sale to) so that's another 20 bucks or so, and bam that's 40 bucks.

RoS is 40 bucks, and a game like that comes with stuff like that stock. PoE sort of is "p2win" if you think about stuff like Chaos recipe, and having more stash space to be able to keep items to sell etc. It definitely gives one an advantage from buying such. Not to mention I'm convinced that supporters have better RNG ;) (jk, I'm just the unluckiest fuck to play this game probably..)

Really though. If you have 3 supporter titles and complain about $40 being so "overpriced" and what not for an expansion...that's how much games cost guys. Sign me up to pay $60 for a path of exile game copy any day if that means secure servers and a better coding to mean no desync issues!

facepalm. no, it isn't by any stretch of the imagination. As noted by someone earlier which you chose to disregard, you can make multiple accounts for muling, hence, your point is moot.
