I don't even have ROS on my radar... why bother? The game was boring to begin with, and making it even easier isn't going to help.

PoE is a great game that has given me alot of fun hours playing it, sadly it has giving me equal frustration, the simple fact that without an /oos macro hardcore becomes unplayable speaks alot about the game. with that said poe has an enormous amount of potential waiting to be realized.
d3 equally has an enormous amount of potential that was never realized in d3 vanilla. that game engine and the way combat feels in that game blows everything else out of the water, sadly the lack of complexity, lack of endgame and lack of build variety was its downfall and the reason alot of us aren´t playing anymore, i did how ever enjoy it for a long time, as i expect i will be enjoying PoE until RoS gets released and i jump over to play that. back to poe for abit, i see the same problems and issues being talked about on these forums as i did in the d3 forums. no way to get your own gear, only viable means of gearing for endgame is via trading, overbuffs and overnerfs leading to flavor of the month builds (nothing as bad as the ww barb yet tho), lack of pvp (don´t give a shit about that myself tho, since i never viewed these types of games as pvp games). all in all i feel there is room for PoE and D3 RoS. the races, and short ladders of PoE add something i don´t think d3 will ever have, and even if i was strongly opposed to the self found soul bound everything route d3 is taking, i do think that route would be a good one for PoE, a permenent self found league with massively increased dropchances for orbs would maybe allow PoE to realize the promise of its crafting system. as it stands tho, it is little better than d3 in the gear department. /end rant tl:dr = RoS looks great but PoE will always have its audience. |

RoS is just gonna turn it into what should be a terrible single player offline game, and yet for some reason you have to log in? PoE shits all over D3 in every way except vissually, but whatever bajillion dollar blizzard had the resources. Didnt see D3 winning any awards |
