Multiboxing

Multiboxing is allowed. There are several who stream it as well, if you want to check it out. There are a few programs that people use, such as ISBoxer. I'm not sure if the third party programs are allowed, since I've seen GGG comment negatively on third party programs of any sort, but people use them anyway. I suggest checking on that before using any. If you just want to have the other accounts sitting in the instance, that's simple and anyone can figure it out I'm sure.

Using several computers and accounts , and "actually" playing them at the same time legit... I see no problem.
Using Bots, or Key Emulation ... I see a problem. Theres no difference between me using two machines, two accounts , and actually controlling both of them, with no key emulation or bots, and me playing one, and wife playing other. GGG cant hand out bans because you have more than one machine logged in from the same IP. Thats a buncha BS. However, the moment you cross the line and bot, or use any software to assist you, your cheating. Hell, this is an old D2 stunt ffs, did it all the time. GGG - Why you no?

" The thing is, I just want to emulate the /player 8 command from D2. I don't want to use the other chars to increase my power. I just want to scale farming zones to a higher difficulty and loot drop rate. A /player 8 command would totally remove my desire to multibox, but since the devs don't seem to want to go that route, I want an alternative to make my farming a bit more efficient without my loot being jacked constantly. No. Calm down. Learn to enjoy losing.

" I dont know that this is entirely true. I read somewhere around here that the Devs werent entirely opposed to the idea. Its just not been implemented yet. Might be wrong though,. GGG - Why you no?

Yeah ok, I wouldn't even consider what you are trying to do "multi-boxing". When I hear that term I think of having multiple accounts and using key emulation software such as ISBoxer to control them all at once. If people are indeed streaming that they should be banned IMO. I don't see anything wrong with what you are trying to do but my opinion doesn't really matter.
