Shock and Horror NERF PLX?

DAFUQ is this crazy shit.

1.Beam of death which follows you pinpoint + pierces everything
2.insta spam-spawn shitty mobs
3.rain of shocking lightning bolts
4.shitload of hp

Have 25% leech with 20k dps, 9k armor and 4k hp. I get raped like a little schoolgirl.

HOW DO I KILL IT?!?!?!?!

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried frost wall + cast on damage taken? Don't know if that would interrupt the beam or not, but seems like it might be worth a shot.

Pure theorycraft, mind you - I'm having too much fun down in normal and cruel still to bother with maps.

i did torture chamber today.
first i killed every mob in the map then i went into the bossroom.
then i pulled three mobs killed them and triggered the boss.
then i got almost oneshot from 2 lightning bolts with topaz flask.
noped out of there never going back.
it seems pretty crazy indeed as a melee.

Shock and Horror. Load of hp, ton of damage. Totems. Tough as f*k, pretty much like a group of Shock and Horror themselves.

You can't just kill totems first, with that hp and repeat summoning. And now you can't kite Shock and Horror, with that beam of death.

First time fighting it, Shock. Then Horror indeed. GGG may think "Oh, it's ok. I've warned you".

The beam pierces. Only way to guarantee a win is freeze mine cheese it.

over capped resist + purity of lightning + topaz flask = faceroll.

Havent tried it yet since buff. Sounds like we have another candidate for skipping or tiering up the map.

But whats the logic behind buffing already OP bosses? Forcing people into partying? Is this where PoE is going - a MMOesque bastard game with forced gameplay mechanics?
