Farystar's Pc Show Off + Celebrating with Package from GGG and logo on it, POE <3
" Thank you @Invalesco. Means alot to me <3. Yes i hope you build one rig just for gaming soon :). " @Vajura ja sem. It is certainly not mediocre, you know how hard was to get this components together. I waited like 6 months just to get the correct type of Dominators shiped to me withs such low latency numbers. And this was all built up 3 years ago and this were one of the most expensive components at that time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- @AtomicFrawg i can see you have alot of knowledge, you knew asap what i actually have. And you have the beast aswell with 2x 660. And that is amazing build aswell, how much did payed for the current setup. Gratz ! Best regards, Fary :) GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever. Oc that cpu lol
and oc the hell out of that video card I had a 5870 (had to sell it a while back cause i needed cash just used a old card i had till i picked up my gtx480 for dirt cheap). Those 5870's with msi afterburner pretty much will max out on the oc scales. Least my XFX did. Phenom 2 955 Quad Oc'ed 4.2 Ghz - Biostar A780L3G 760G

" Yeah, wohoooooooo, another one that knows how good the GPU alone is. This are hand picked chips and such graphic cards always come in limited production numbers. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.

" While I agree overall with you, I would say the LGA 1155 took the OC mantle from the 1366 with the 2500k which can easily be OC'd up to 5.0GHz. I'm personally running an OC'd i7 950, but I never bothered upgrading my system, especially since I purchased 24GB of triple channel memory for a really good deal last year. To the OP, slick lookin' case. :) Last edited by skyelar#3109 on Jan 22, 2013, 12:54:27 PM

" Wow 24 GB and 750 is very strong one, by default i think they are over 3,2 ghz. What about latency numbers on that ram, because that much ram is nothing if latency is bad. I payed alone 250 EUR just for 6 gb of Dominator ram and they still hold the price even today. Ps. Brb in an hour. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.

" I mean i will say at the time the card came out it lacked some features I believe nvidia had put into there cards that were up against ati, but the rare power of that line was unbeatable at the time along with many other specs if i remember right. The card is beast and still can rip it up period. Only reason I got a GTX480 is a few months ago when i finally got back on my feet I had $100 to put towards a card and get this crappy 220 geforce out of my rig lol. I found gtx 480 and got the guy down to 100 bucks on hardocp which was a steal. Only thing i hate about this card is man voltage is insane and the heat that comes off of it. But if you don't oc start learning :) That card can max out the scales and barely break a sweat along with that cpu for a huge performance jump. Phenom 2 955 Quad Oc'ed 4.2 Ghz - Biostar A780L3G 760G

" Latency won't be an issue but the overclocking capability will be hampered, due to the extra stress on the IMC. BTW, nice rig. Gratz. Those 920s are begging to be overclocked, most should hit 4ghz with the right voltage but results vary. GL ign BluedreaM

" Using Corsair Vengeance 24GB DDR31600MHz which runs stock 1600MHz at 9-9-9-24-2T. I have mine OC'd operating smoothly with a slight adjustment in timings, running at 1.65v, 1866MHz, 9-10-9-24-2T. I do not necessarily recommend having tons of memory. I got mine on a really good deal for quite literally $119, and I do *a lot* of multitasking. I run three monitors, sometimes more than one game at a time, browser with gobs of tabs open, and typically have Photoshop and/or Visual Studio running. On top of that, when not gaming, I also am doing work with multiple Citrix and/or Remote Desktop sessions, and VMware vSphere Hypervisor. It's more of a matter of convenience than anything, allowing me to keep things open so I can quickly get to what I need when I want to. Last edited by skyelar#3109 on Jan 22, 2013, 3:38:11 PM

Yea it depends on purpose. I have this rig mostly for gaming. For other things i also have Hp Pro book, if i'm not home :).
@skyelar Yea latency is a bit high, but it's not that huge of a difference and like you said, you do alot of multitasking and have opened applications etc. It's understandable. GGG thank you for all the great things you are doing. You have combined every element of all other great Rpg's and joined them together as one Diamond, that will shine Forever.
