This just in. You are playing the Int/Dex class.
You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
Even if you can, you can't have the whole fucking cake.
You could try to go dual-wield anyway and not build for extra block chance.
You could work in spells.
You could go Sword-n-"board" with Eldritch Battery for crazy mana, and work in the above more awesomely.

(Yes, this means you will probably be squishy. Embrace it and become the glass cannon Wraeclast deserves.)

Alternatively, you could play a marauder and use Sweep and Ground Slam all day with no pants on.
