Duping process with Mirror of Kalandra (what bug?)

No. No one got richer from this. It wasn't an exploit for profit it bug. The extra item would be destroyed by the server.

No. No one got richer from this. It wasn't an exploit for profit it bug. The extra item would be destroyed by the server.

Sounds like you could trade it away before it got destroyed. Someone said it would only get destroyed upon relogging.

Its not like it affects the real world just some people thinking being rich in a video game is any good.

It's good if you can trade that in-game wealth for real world wealth

You couldnt really make much on this considering a mirror is 130ex.

You could if someone else was supplying the mirror and paying you for a copy of an item you owned.

The person supplying the mirror would probably get what they paid for. It would be the secondary sale of the duped item that would generate the illicit profit and result in a very upset customer.

As far as i know, i'm the first person that reported this bug about 6 weeks ago (1.0 patch). I found it as I have alot of mirror service items. I mirrored an item with a skin, but when i went to trade the item, i got the message "items with microtransactions cannot be traded". So, I removed the skin and proceeded to trade. I was left with 2 skins: the one applied to my item and the one I removed from the mirrored item.

Yes, this bug was abused by a small group of people that have mirror worthy items (rich got WAY richer). Was used to temp dupe items, then trade items before logging out for exalts and other currencies.

No, I didn't partake. I'm sure Mark or someone from GGG could pull up my original bug report.

Because of the low volume that must have occurred, I'd almost certainly expect everyone who exploited the bug to face some action from GGG.
