Gorier death animations?

Could the enemy death animations be more gorier and creative like in Diablo rather than just have the model fall?

I actually agree with this... having more interesting death animations and impact animations can definitely affect the overall feel of the game.

honestly I cant believe im saying this but yeah I would like it to be like Torchlight or Diablo 3 because it makes your hero feel much more powerful.

Yeah, Not actually playing the game myself. But knowing from a gaming/game dev point of view, that death animations and the fluid-ness of the combat and how you feel while hacking and slashing through hordes of enemies can really effect the game. More death animations would make the character feel a bit more powerful, thus making them want to play longer.

I agree with the original poster, the deaths themselves don't exactly need to have more gore or blood for me to be amused, but definitely creative death animations give a game a better lasting effect. All creatures are going to die in various ways, and every now and then you're going to notice your character make an awesome kill! And it's going to light a spark underneath us all :)

I agree. I saw Diablo 3's death animation..and I would love it if they implemented it on this! Though, it's probably quite hard to do. But then again, that's a good suggestion. Really loved the way Barbarian sends the enemies flying into the air xD

I think it is gory enough.

There could be a gore adjustment bar so the player can decide if they want a little or a lot of gore.

Gore and Blood to the max is so needed in this game. Simply just look at the logo/symbol at the top of the page with Path of Exile in it. It's all bloody.

The only downside this could have is that it might increase the age rating...

There could be a age check and if you agree that you are over a certain age you can increase the graphics or something which probably wouldn't stop any younger kids from doing.

But really what kid would play this game that didn't want that ...

No seriously, remember in in act IV in diablo? absolute clusterfuck with the corpse-eaters. now that's what I call gore.
