You are obviously playing the wrong game if you don't like the skilltree and think DPS meters are important.

Please just stop, your idea is bad and you should feel bad.

Just so we have a good example.
I was playing with someone today on alpha.
He was using ice spear with LMP.
Now he can read his dps on the character sheet, but it's meaningless.
The extra damage from having multiple projectiles isn't included in any way in the sheet.
The 600% crit chance boost from ice spear on longer distance targets is also not included.
The extra dps from frostbite is also not included (nor is the potential resists that monsters have).
The extra dps from shock stacks that his arc totem created is also not included.

So what exactly does the character sheet tell him? Pretty much nothing at all.
A personal dps meter would be very useful for testing out builds and seeing how effective it is in certain areas, but it's a bad idea to be able to see other people's dps... for reasons that should be obvious.

yea dps meter is ano here. Most ARPG games are good as they stand. to test out builds you try them out and guess what? if you die a lot and arent progressing much then you might want to switch your gems for other ones. test new builds and so one once you find one you like that does good or even decent then stick with it.

and a side note mounts would be cool.. but only a visual thing that doesnt increase spd or anything make it a microtransaction.

You need the jousting gem. You can get it by fishing near the broken bridges WP. Pretty OP, to be completely honest.
