This game needs DPS meters

A DPS meter is not about doing more DPS than your friends, it is there to see if you are doing optimal DPS and if the group as a whole is doing optimal DPS.

There are no Raid encounters in games like this and thus a DPS Meter is useless.
It`s a waste of screen real estate and development time.

4. the second you intreduce them the game will be DPS optimaze TO THE MAXZZ! aaaaand the fun way of playing is almost gone.

Maybe... because some abilities are difficult to assess and not shown on the character sheet... eg LMP/Chain/Fork/Any AOE/etc..
It's impossible to get average dps numbers for these kinds of multi-target attacks currently and a meter would be useful for figuring out how good they are.

Though really, not a high priority.

yes, taekvideo is right, on my character sheet I can see how much damage I do, but the game is more dynamic then whats on my character sheet.

I think we should get DPS meter and maybe some kind of assist system where I can see what my friend is attacking.. that would be really cool.

Better give the money to other better system or new system than making DPS meter now.

Like making skill tree bigger? its already stupid.. they should make it easier to make builds.. i dont want to sit all day and take 3 hours every day of my playtime just to be able to play the game the way I want to.

Or they could just open up the game and we'll be able to change the entire user interface as well as making our own DPS per second meters.

They would be opening a huge can of worms if they would do this.
Changing the Interface is very close to writing map hacks and other junk.

No to DPS meters.

And this game will never be opened up for adding mods.

im sorry to hear that but i think a game like that allready exists. Wont call out the full game name but it starts with a D. . .
