Real Money Auction House

Have you thought about the implementation of creating a real money auction house similar to d3 in order to support future dev and game maintenance?

You think this game should have a RMAH? WHY?????????????????????????????????????????????

You realize that it was horrible in D3 right?

To be honest I never used the one in d3 as I was not a big fan of the game they released at all. In my opinion poe is 10x more enjoyable to play even in beta.

However I remember when playing d2 lod hc and making tons of money on ebay selling items before it was banned.

I would think that adding something like this could greatly increase the the life of the game and attract a lot more loyal players. Look at all the people streaming video game at the moment in an attempt to make money. If you somehow gave them that ability in-game do you not think that players from all other game type would come and play poe for 20 hrs a day?

It is one to stream just playing the game, and completely other playing one one certain way (farming) to gain money. it would not attract 'loyal' people.


Greed has ruined the world already. Please don't let ruin the POE. Yup , people wail sell items on ebay, but at least it won't be inside of poe. Everyone won't be reminded that you can make money of it. It won't be the main way to play the game.

the RMAH is allready into the makes in form of packs people can buy from the actual site. thus no need for an ingame RMAH.

my 2 cents.

an actual RMAH would destroy the economy ingame and tbh its not needed at all since we have a decent Trading system and no currency to speak of besides actual goods

a barter economy will allways be more intresting then an actual Money one.

I can understand the logic of the idea that since a game will be having people sell stuff for real money illegally they may as well implement it into the game themselves and have some control/profit from it. The problem here lies in the fact that implementing it ingame means the game has to be based around it to a large degree. Take diablo 3. when i played that and got some distance into the game it went from a rpg in the early part to something that felt like an auction house simulator with a rpg mini game thrown on top of it. I also got angry with having to buy it at the cost of a AAA game and then finding out it was pay to win at the same time .

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thank you for your Diamond Support but I cannot agree with a RMAH in any game at this moment.

It's really not going to happen.
GGG is firmly against pay2win.
