Resolute Technique and Chance to hit - help needed please

just an fyi, im doing base flat damage, crits is not an issue, so that part of resolute technique doesn't effect me - my heavy strike that deals splash damage hits for 550ish dps to the main target and 55% of that to surrounding targets - which isn't bad, but my poor 85% chance to hit is having an noticeable impact << THIS is the reason why i think accuracy over resolute technique is more important.....yes?

Any and all feedback on this would be massively appreciated.

Wrong.

Chance to hit is calculated
Chance to Hit = Attacker's Accuracy / ( Attacker's Accuracy + (Defender's Evasion / 4) ^ 0.8

The values you see for chance to hit,chance to evade, And physical damage reduction is for average monster of your level. Accuaracy nodes on their own don't give more chance to hit, but increase accuracy by that % of base value. So you need either accuracy gem or some dexterity, or or either dexterity/accuracy on gear.

With resolute technic monsters can't evade, due to evasion rolls, but they can still block(shield mobs) or dodge(no mobs with this mods).

By the way evasion in this game is deterministic 50% chance to hit, you hit every other time,80% 4 out of 5, e.t.c. It also has second roll for critical hit being just regular hit, so if you are crit build it sorta has pretty good value.

get resolute technique if you are marauder, it has been almost impossible to build critical based marauders until now.
