Mirror of Kalandra most useless Currency in Current Economy?

-I was just thinking it would be great for a Mirror to drop, so I could get like 140+ Exalts...

...I didn't even consider that getting a Mirror = Getting a Godly item...

Unless you have enough currency to pay people their "Mirror Fee", your mirror(Rarest currency in the game) is now useless...

---Anyone else think this is kind of stupid.
It is obviously an end-game and trading orientated item.

I would consider this chosen by design.
I still miss the open beta times where mirrors were 15-20ex, and the mirror fee was just 1ex max.

The economy really changed since than :)
Anyone who can afford a mirror can certainly afford a 5 exalt mirroring fee (or whatever it is).

If a noob or whatever finds a mirror, their best bet is to sell it. Mirror drops are more insanely rare than you probably think though.

No... they would get roughly 140 exalts in standard, roughly 50-60 exalts in Dom, and I don't know the hardcore league rates.

If they get ripped off for not knowing what it's worth, that's entirely their fault.

As i am playing selffound, i can see the mirror as the best thing that you can drop, right after that godly item.
That means that i can now have that godly item for other character as well.
It is sad that you see your drops as currency.
For me that kinda kills the loothunting.

Actually, some mirror fees are ridiculously expensive now. I am seeing some going pass 30+ ex, and at one point I saw a mirror item with a fee of mirror + 70 exalts.
Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

After perusing a few Nemesis threads, the going rate appears to be 25 to 30 exalts for a mirror by traders not intentionally killing their character for Standard. Thus, the first few weeks of the next Hardcore league will be the optimal time to acquire one "cheap".
mirrors are a rmt'ers dream come true.
