People with insane amounts of Exalted Orbs

I dont farm as much as before. But i still make enough exalts and wealth to go solo and gear up my toons. two weeks ago, I had 0 exalts, and spent most of my currency making my alternate toon facebreaker (now 85). During that time, I got most of my wealth through mapping, and posting them in the forums with the help of poe.xyz. I'm sitting at 50 exalts of currency just doing maps and lvling up.

I've traded like crazy for 2 days and managed 3 Exalteds by giving it everything I got. I see folks advertising having over 100 Exalts and so on. Ofcourse, the basic principle of buying cheap and selling for more is everywhere, but 120 Exalteds, c'mon.

Keep in mind that some people have been playing this game since the dawn of time. Some play for many, many hours a day. Therefore, some people have amassed great in-game wealth. And that's just by grinding; if you flip currency and items you can make a lot more and make it lot quicker.

120 exalts is a lot to you and me, but really drop in a bucket to some of these people.

Entered domination 4 weeks ago, i was able to afford this after 2.5 weeks in.




I was lucky regardless, found a 20 exalt weapon, 4 aurseizes with 50% IIR and many other rares/uniques that left the bank fast. Also flipped a Voltaxic for 5 exalteds profit and a divination for 4.5 exalted profit.

I 6-linked the shavronne's myself after 250 fusings.

Moral of the story, it is possible if you combine some lucky drops with economic knowledge.

I did also ran a super effective 70 quantity/300 iir character that was capable of speed-farming 70-75 maps. Never had a good unique though.

In 14 trades you have extra 1 Ex - that's about ~ 1-2 hours.

Players who do it all day long will have 100's Ex no doubt.
Most players, including myself, spend time killing monsters.

I share the same "spend time killing monsters" , but for some people it´s nice to play some pathOfEconomy.. like in wow.. control one currency and make profit, if they don´t use RMT it´s ok for me, enjoy
