it is very good for discharge - and colors dont matter much because discharge is in searing touch anyway.

with reave, fire trap, RoA, just any skill - this is very very good armor. what makes it not BiS are the ev/es values in low range. but anyway - very good armor

its awesome for the cold scion i´m planing
mainskills will be a coldsnap trap and arctic breath
with EB+IR and a manuel casted molten shell+AA for defence
all skills profit from area/area dmg (except AA)
if i can get my hand on a Taryn's Shiver it will be crazy

after level 80 i can still take the some of the 4% area increases,traps cant be destroyed for 5 seconds (which is very usefull against those arc spammers etc when playing solo),mor castspeed,mind over matter or the 6%life/8%mana mana increased notes if regen isnt enough to sustain q AA (for movementspeed and icegroud when i have to kite,nice bonus to the ce ground AB already leaves behind)

I use them for my Rain of Arrows build (no access to AOE passives, so this helps to balance it out). Its basically a good item for most builds using AOE-based skills like that. Works very well with the new skill Storm Call as well.

Use this with a Marohi Erqi and you'll get Ground Slam/Sweep/Leap Slam with insanely large aoe even with Concentrated Effect.
