I think you're wrong. It happened to me that a map dropped for the leader in a SA party and after a while, I was able to pick it up.


Also, didn't know that maps only drop for the leader. That kinda explains why I wasn't getting any of the map drops while running maps with others :D


Someone here talked about PA forcing people to "socialize" with each other. Sorry, that's about the biggest lie ever. As it is now (at least from my experience), you can't really "socialize" in most of the random parties, because all the people want is usually just rush through a quest/map/location to get it done. They couldn't care less about conversation.

That said, I was lucky on a few occasions and met some friendly guys in various random parties, so we play together every once in a while and it's all neat and fun :)

Is anybody still around, reading this topic?

I have another question:
Sometimes I see an item that I can pick up, but before I do, someone else picks it up.
So... how do I know that something was allocated to me?

Because if there's no way to tell if something was allocated to you and you only or if someone else can pick it up too, then the argument that Perma Alloc. allows players to focus on the fight and not on the loot is kinda not valid O.o
