do you guys understand what a domain is ???

xyzlkqoeko13123312ksda.cnn.com is still under cnn domain. it cannot be any other website not affiliated with cnn, for example.

a simple google search about the problem yields that its indeed probably a DNS problem

thanks for clearing that up I had a google and im still not sure why a site would have anything other than a www. and why one would exist when the same site is available as a www. but it "seems" to be safe. I personally I wont be signing in from that address. The www. remembers my account and I can view threads with out signing in. From experience I follow the maxim of "if you dont understand it leave it the fuck alone". I may be being an ignoramus but I know im not gonna mess my account security up at least.

Here is the simple answer to webcdn:

As he stated earlier the webcdn is a subdomain to the original domain pathofexile.com. So the webcdn.pathofexile.com address would be a subpage to the original site. Using the concept of content delivery. Example:

Apache web server uses a folder called www as its main page. You can however change the script to point to what ever folder you prefer. lets say that first folder was called webcdn. So now instead of www.pathofexile.com you have webcdn.pathofexile.com. Which is a subdomain to the pathofexile.com domain.
