Please no, it does nothing but add lag to any game I have played that had it built in.

There are so many fantastic and free options out there for people to use voice together it makes no sense to spend resources adding it into the client.
Well to be honest this is the only multi player RPG game I will even consider playing on PC at the moment, so I can not speak from experience as to how it effects lag. However in console games it works perfectly, and is the main reason I even play games on console. Seeing as how computers and computer games are vastly superior to consoles in terms of diversity of game development possibilities I see no reason this could not be accomplished smoothly. Apart from lag and fear of desynch, is there any real objection to the possible contribution to the cohesiveness of the community something such as this could represent?

Old thread is old, but I do not know if I should start a new thread or post to old threads.

Counter-strike
left 4 dead
left 4 dead 2
Team fortress 2
team fortress classic
Fortress forever
Evolve
Call of duty
And literally hundreds of other multiplayer games function just fine with voice support.

Fix it so only people in your group can talk to each other.

This is not the 1990s. Voice support in multiplayaer has been around for over a decade. There is no reason for a multiplayer game not to have voice support.
