are you guys going to have a site with this sort of info? or will you leave it to the fans to do a wiki?

There is a wiki.

I personally think that certain aspects of a wiki should be auto-generated by GGG.
It's magnitudes easier for them to auto-generate some of these things with a database conversion tool as compared to users entering in data manually. The wiki would then also be a great tool for them to organize and showcase updates and additions while simultaneously adding to the knowledgebase. On the alpha site there are pages with autogenerated tables. We'll expand them (and add documentation about how stats/combat calculations/etc work) over time.

I generally dont use them much, i like to figure out a game myself rather than read it. could be handy for a couple of things though
