I don't actually believe in atheism. I'm an atheist atheist. I think it is impossible to have absolutely ZERO belief in a higher being and I think that agnosticism is as far as we can go in that direction of belief. I know a lot of people like to say that they are atheists (apparently atheism is the smart people religion) but I honestly roll my eyes every time I hear anyone claim to be an atheist.
Of course, this is all based on my personal view of the world (as is everything). I also find it hard to believe anyone could actually be a liberal. The difference is that with liberalism it actually makes sense...the argument is there for and against. With atheism...it just seems impossible to me not to question. Just an observation from a drunk onion. I don't have sig :D -- gracy123

A lot of people are saying this thread is stupid and close minded??? why because i want to play with atheist people?? so If i said wtp with only males that would be close minded??? what if i only wanted to play with homosexuals ??? or with college students?? or with people from California?? would that still be close minded? that's right plz just stay quite and skip this thread if you don't have anything nice to say.

Might as well say Americans are better than Canadians/Egyptians/Indians/Chinese/etc. You're initial post was fine, seemed more like a joke than anything else, but some of your posts are blatantly saying that religion is stupid. What would you expect the reaction to be? For religious people to read that and go "Hhhmm now that he mentions it, he does have a good point." Don't think so... Oh and you didn't "have" to retaliate, you chose to. I'm religious, I didn't say, "Hordemon, you're such a stupid idiot. Man atheists are so dumb." That's what this posts says to religious people. That is such a broad and widely wrong statement it is making me throw up a little bit. Everyone has morals. In fact certain morals are the keystone of every religion. They are mostly just that: Moral guidelines to live by. Most of the atheist morals base on christian morals btw if you ever want to follow the historic development of moral philosophy. Rational = Atheist? Your irrational hate for religious people kinda proves the opposite. You are leading yourself ad absurdum here. The intensity with which people have to show off their atheism and shove it up everyone's throat is sickening. And before you label me as "religious" with that gigantic label maker in your head, I am not. I am as un-religious as can be. |
