its old and pretty nice and effective idea. Guild contain players that can complete guild quests, some dungeons, bring some dropped things to the guild, crafting in guild and this actions just increasing guild experience (yeah guild have experience levels like players do). While players increasing this guild levels guild just giving them per level bonuses like +2% experience +2% magic find on guild level 5, on guild level 10 it will be +5% magic find, +5% xp + 5% resist while in a party and much more, u can just think about it and u can do another concept how to use in game items or drops and how connect them with a guild system and its rewards. Its not pay 2 win concept its a concept o replayability, its a concept of extreme fun 2 play and its concept of competition while players want be better than others and creating epic communities with their own names ;)
Yeah You understanded me right :) dunno maybe i didnt write good in the first post but i was meaning that. Also there could be Guild races because if there is Guild expirience than why not Guild race?
Edited the First post to make it more clear
races is complicated term in english language as i realized, u mean competition or some kind of classes ?! because if u mean "classes" its not good idea. When u are creating character u decide what u want to create and after that u find guild not reversed. So why should be races avalaible for guilds? Nope thats not good idea. Competition between guilds is awesome for sure ;) ... in first post u wrote it right and i understanded it, but i just have to react on posts "pay 2 win" without Quote

I agree guild functionality is an important component to the game. It will enhance communication, comradery, competition, and enjoyment. If GGG can make a fair amount of money implementing that feature than I feel it is worthwhile.
I don't think you will be able to include the +5% magic find concept with GGG avoiding Pay2Win features.
pay2win? where you saw there pay2win?
oh my god ... this missunderstandings :) i ve reacted on 1 st post and agreed with your answer (2nd post)
oh yes, as i said race is complicated term in english xD yeah u mean this week-race, 3hours race etc ... i think thats a excellent idea when guilds can compete in this races named "HC-Guild-Race" (or another mode with special rules) as a guild not as a one player ... thats great idea, i absolutely agree in this way

in fact each idea that hits u is based on Capturing system when you are thinkin about guild vs guild. But this guild vs guild is pretty much complicated so we are just talking now and we can discuss it again maybe year later. But if i have to decide what guild vs guild system to choose i would look on Guild Wars 2 PVP system, there is most developed PVP system in a whole mmo rpg history ;)

Agree about Gw2 pvp system its the best MMORPG system ever but this is ARPG so we need smaller maps with fast action so it can be fun. And i think Capture the flag is not for this game.

y sure we just need to keep GW2 pvp system idea, other things like environment issues should be created to fit on this kind of rpg and to fit on possibilities of the game.
Or there is other similiar system from passed times :-P Did someone heard about warhammer online? I guess many heard but many didnt play that.
Warhammer was the best concurent of world of warcraft, blizzard devoloped wrath of lich king datadisk few month earlier with many copied features of warhammer but thats not the reason why u did not play this game or u did not heard about it as "the best mmo ever" "excellent pvp system", "new age of rpgs started, god save our souls from playing!" ... game was a mistake, few months after its release game have been left by many angry players, development of this game was just maybe too fast and in stress, or it was just a critical mistake ... whatever lets talk about awesome/bad pvp concept
PVP of warhammer was combination of lineage 2, wow and guild wars with extreme massivity that they add. They were first that came with Realm vs Realm pvp (server vs server), the point was in capital cities of all known races in game. Good races vs Evil races ... Every race had a few cities + capital city, players could improve guards, features, defence, economy and many other things in city by taking experience (quests, dungeons) for city npcs, guild spent their own points for city improvement. When realm vs realm started, good boys from one realm was fighting against bad boys from other realm, there were a tiers in combat modes ... after u reached enough points (many victories in battlegrounds) u ve reached another tier, another and another and after many tiers u ve reached enemy cities and after another victory u could siege enemy capital city :) problem was in balance, one race had 5000 ppl playing on server and bad boys in example had 15000 players that was a problem why ppl left this game, because when the bad boys kill the king you ve becoming THE EXILE (yeah there is a Path :P) and u had many perks to create a new power and fight enemies in a city and u can take it back. Problem was that many players just dont wanna play PVP and they was joined in without any pvp game. PVE players just logged in and "what the fuck where is my quests? where is merchants, where is auction house, what the fuck where is the city" and after being lost without capital city as exile they ve just start play another game, sadly and that balance? Taking city back 1v5k? ... yeah now u know a sad story about warhammer online, one of the best mmorpg with excellent theory but wrong realized concept ... so it hits me, we can improve it ...
Guild vs Guild? Guild House vs Guild House ? :) War between Guilds dependant on tiers without repeating mistakes of warhammer? :)
