What about; locked difficulties till completing the previous one?!

That's good, cuz scaling is a bad mechanic for fairly obvious (imo) reasons.

Scaling tends to prevent relative character growth, which is analytically the only measure of game progress other than graphical changes of venue.

Most games that claim scaling actually do cap relative growth for this exact reason.

Oblivion's and fallout's scaling I loved. Different games however. Just putting it out there that it can be fine if done right.

I'm one of those who don't like scaling and it's good to learn there won't be scaling. Three progressive difficulties and one end-game difficulty without scaling sounds good.

BTW did GGG really confirm there will be the 4th act in the gold?

become a monster.

Level 50 is just the upper end of the Milestone 8 balance. It'll be higher once the other acts are added.

Right. Chris mentioned at one point that Act 4 would be the first major expansion after release.

First, be smart from the very beginning. Pulverize all teeth, burn off fingerprints, and disfigure the face. Forcing a DNA test to establish identity (if it ever comes to that) might introduce the legal/forensic hurdle that saves your ass down the line. An unidentifiable body can, in a pinch, be dressed in thrift store clothes and dropped in a bad part of town where the police are less likely to question it. I don't reommend that disposal method, I'm just saying an easily identifiable body is an even bigger threat than the opposite.
