" In theory this would work and I thought the same thing as you at first. But, there is a period of time between where the "chain" of explosions start at 1.5 seconds and where the final storm call explodes (roughly .1 seconds I would say) more you can cast more storm calls that will explode with that set. Here are some results I got from testing it.
27% = 5 43% = 6 63% = 6 64% = 6 65% = 6 66% = 6 67% = 7 87% = 7 88% = 8 89% = 8 92% = 8 96% = 8 109% = 8 113% = 8 114% = 9 116% = 9 119% = 9 Past this point it seemed to vary occasionally (possibly from lag) 127% = 9 131% = 9 132% = 9 133% = 9 134% = 10 I also posted this on the reddit thread. Not sure anybody is still watching this.
This somehow seems off with totems (obvs. factoring in the cast speed reduction). Is it multiplicative with totem cast speed reduction? Additive (or rather, subtractive...)? Sth. else? IGN: GyreJubjub (Nemesis)

" Spell Totem's 30% Casting Penalty is reduced, so expect it to be subtractive to FC. just add 30% to Andromansis's post. by my experience, reduced duration reduces the number of bolts by one per burst. used a level 17 reduced duration with some 15+% innate faster casting when I tested that. Better stay in the land of the damned, Exile. Here, even the very words are corrupted by Nightmare.
