Best type of defense?
Aegis aurora block builds dwarf everything in terms of survivability.
Throw in stone of lazwar, rainbowstrides, and templar spell block node and you become a fortress. I'm talking literally going AFK vs some things that would destroy most players. |

" I was speaking in general. Of course the priorities would change depending on the enemy. As to point two, it's mostly against the majority of enemies you face and not very useful against tougher opponents. That much should be obvious. However, it's second because massive amounts of enemies tend to be harder to deal with than single bosses. Those bosses always do the same things over and over and you can prepare for them, but you can't be prepared for three magic mobs, two rares, and a rogue exile all at the same time. This can overwhelm some builds every time, and be problematic for many others. |

One thing forgotten in that list though is capping, cap breaking and overcapping resists. Having 120%+ resists capped down to 87% makes an immense difference in survivability.

" I have no idea.. And yeah, i'n my opinion a high EHP block build using aegis (aegis basically adds a secondary scale able block) is the most tanky build now. |
