Hardly. Yes, it may be annoying. Yes, it's something I would certainly avoid doing myself, as should anyone who is interested in selling their stuff. But in the end, you do have to keep in mind that what you are getting upset about is something that will only be a problem for you if you are using a THIRD-PARTY site. It seems a little unfair to try to impose rule on these forums based solely on your usage of these other sites. And certainly these are not something that is officially supported by GGG(though they don't seem to object to them either.) It's even possible(theoretically at least) that some of the people posting items like that are unaware that these sites even exist or how they work. As such, no there is no way GGG can/should be banning people here based on stuff like this.

If anything is going to be done about it, it SHOULD be done by the indexer sites themselves. Items with a buyout like 999ex should automatically be filtered out by the site. POEXYZ already seems to have a "report" button, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to do much. A button like this could be used to have those items reviewed by someone on the site and manually blocked from appearing on the site if they are in fact not for sale. If the same person keeps posting items like that, the site could automatically block ALL items they post(effectively banning them from THAT site). If they lose enough sales because of this, that would put pressure on them to not post the items on here unless they are actually for sale. But again, the problem is only because of people using these external sites, so those sites should be where it is dealt with, not here.

Of course, having a better trade system so we don't NEED those external sites in the first place would be an even better solution, but it looks like that is still a ways off unfortunately.

For mirror service, post the price as 1.05 mirrors or 1.02 mirrors with a note that it is for mirroring.

For the case that OP states, no, they should not be posting their gear in the trade thread unless it is for sale, especially when they can just punch up the exact affixes they want on a piece of gear or pieces of gear and link to that using poe.xyz.is

Yep. Mirror services and people posting their own gear irritate me. Why would you post your own gear when you know its just going to cloud up explorer or xyz?

Another one I hate is when people hijack other trading threads by posting their gear in someone else's thread. I get tired of seeing the same armor 4 times on the first page because some guy is posting it in other people's threads.

All 3 of those guys should be banned from trade forum or put on probation. Its hard enough to trade in this game without people mucking up and abusing the system.

Maybe some people dont know about that site? I didnt know about it until a few weeks ago. You people cant judge others for posting stuff on POE, its not like they post it directly on that indexer site.

U dont just magically scan trade forums and find some of the gear they are wearing, and the guys that hijack threads KNOW that it will show up multiple times now; thats exactly why they do it.

Anyone posting mirror services, hijacking threads, and posting top notch gear they are wearing know full well what poe.xyz and poexplorer are. They are doing it on purpose. I barely even trade; like 90% self-found, and I know about these sites. If you trade at all, you know.
