I'm just glad that I managed to get 5 stars. And thats with barely any hours played in the last 2 months. :)

I'd like to add my thoughts about the Unique challenge.
I completed the majority of first seven challenges simply though playing the game. Towards the end of the league I did a few things here and there to collect the last few stars. This included doing the one week nemesis race for the nemesis mods and rolling a facebreaker marauder to get the last class to 65. I thoroughly enjoyed completing the first seven challenges. They pushed me and my builds to the limit trying to get all the map boss kills and trying to stay alive on my first ever hardcore character. They also encouraged me to try new things i otherwise wouldn't have done (viper strike ranger, flameblast templar, facebreaker marauder, nemesis league). Now we come to the last challenge. The Unique challenge. I set out knowing i would not even attempt this. The other challenges encourage playing the game and pushing yourself, trying out new things. The unique challenge rewards you for afking in town flipping items or mindlessly grinding bosses with a boring max rarity spec that has little to no player interaction. I feel the last challenge was added just to make it virtually impossible for the majority of players to complete. Perhaps this is because of financial reasons due to the real world merchandise promised for its completion (the T-shirt). Also the only prize being for completion of all 8 stars discourages players who know they will never complete all of them. I would be far happier if they removed the unique challenge and the T-shirt and instead added alternate art prizes (similar to the race rewards) for each 'star' earned. This would encourage players to get as many stars as they can and keep playing up to the end of the leagues. |

" You said it. I've been suggesting this since the start of the league. Alt art stuff and get rid of inane challenges like this one. Make challenges that reward character development. I'd rather have in game items, anyways, to be honest. Alt art stuff would be cool, or even a challenges demigod item. Anarchy/Onslaught T shirt

I agree with the sentiment, some more variety in challenges next leagues would be a good thing. Besides the unique challenge, I felt the grinding 7 characters to 65 was allso pretty tedious.
Some challange ideas that would cost a lot of time, but would require actually playing the various parts of the game instead of mindless grinding in a certain way. -Reach level 90 in SC league and lvl 85 in HC league -Have 80 (or possibly 100) out of ~240 of the unique passive keynodes used among your characters. Unspeccing them will also remove challenge credit -Obtain a rare weapon with 5 top tier mods and/or a rare armor piece with 6 top tier mods -Fullclear all endgame maps with 5 portals remaining (aka solo) -Kill all Unique mobs in the HC league -some challenges to do with the new league content Last edited by Vecnab#3987 on Feb 17, 2014, 12:28:07 PM

The idea of clearing palace solo with no portals really scares me, but I'd definitely prefer it to the unique one, because it fits my personal definition of "challenge." As for 7 characters to 65, really wish the Dom/Nem week races had been announced before I did that one, as they would have been a great time to knock a couple out.

The Uniques Challenge is really what keep me out of focusing on challenges. There has to be a mean to make sure that not everyone should be able to complete all challenges (keep it "challenging") and still removing it, because that's why that challenge is for. When you just think about it, it's just retarded. I never made the maths myself, but I'm pretty sure there is like 300-400 ex worth of uniques in that list. Let's say you're pretty damn lucky and managed to find/chance 200ex worth of uniques during the league, that's still a lot to put into this.

And yeah I agree with the stupidity of the unique challenge its pretty obscene compared to the others. Would prefer something like own 70 different unique items so it still requires you to hoard uniques but potentially less difficult. I was only able to complete it with help from a lot of friends.
