Yeah, the assassin was one of my favorite classes in Diablo 2, the only problem I had with the charge system is that the charges would often disappear before I got to any enemies.
But, the charge system is only something that can be improved upon. Happy Days Abound.

Another new mechanic for an ARPG. Besides the visceral point and click combat along with randomized items, most of the gameplay mechanics are kind of new for this genre. While the game stays true to ARPG roots with the game's dark and realistic look, we can say that it is the first 3D dark and realistic ARPG too.
I'm very positive that PoE will be the next touchstone in this genre. As for charges, it looks it's wise to build up them killing weak enemies till we encounter a unique mob or boss or we get surrounded by many mobs, then we should use them. He who fights with monsters
