1-100 in under 45 days!

Hey guys! After posting my level 1-69 challenge for fastest leveling speed, I promised to post accurate numbers for how long it would take to level 1-100 following my xp-ing areas with my current clearspeed. Level 1-69 took 10h34m, and the road from 69-100 is going to take (based on my current clearspeed in the 67 zone Catacombs, which will be the zone for leveling untill I hit 100) 43,8 days played! In order to put this into more realistic numbers, I'm including the following numbers.

The numbers are NOT additive, just translated into different formats.

1 to 100: 1061,57 Hours / 44,23 Days / 1,47 Months

If you play 8 hours a days, the numbers change to the following:

1 to 100 (8h/d): 132,70 Days / 4,42 Months

What you will notice is, this is significantly faster than any mapper was able to do on hardcore prior to the actual release of the game. The only person able to break 100 (on hardcore) was SirBaker, few days prior to the game actually releasing. It is in other words (with high enough clear speed) way faster to level up in the Catacombs, than anyone has been able to do in maps.

Additional numbers:

1 to 80 (8h/d): 16,06 Hours / 2,01 Days
1 to 85 (8h/d): 38,17 Hours / 4,77 Days
1 to 90 (8h/d): 144,02 Hours / 18,00 Days
1 to 95 (8h/d): 493,15 Hours / 61,64 Days / 2,05 Months
1 to 100 (8h/d): 132,70 Days / 4,42 Months

That's not to say that I pull 8 hour days or anything like that, but I felt this was a fair played time per day to be compareable to the most hardcore of players.

Hope this information was useful to you! My DPS during gathering these numbers was 38k. It can get way higher, but at this time I'm unable to finish up my gearset to reach the projected 74k. It wouldn't be a significant change to the clearspeed, as most the time is spent running.

What build are you playing?
Please post in detail about how you calculated this. Claiming something contrary to the experiences of literally everyone who has attempted to level 90+ carries a very high burden of proof.

Also, assuming that you can spend 8 hours a day at maximal efficiency is a flawed assumption :p

It is based on 120881125 actual xp gain/hour prior to xp penalties. The assumption of 8 hours a day is not unfair, as some people even play 16 hours a day.

If you don't trust the calculations you can dig up the xp required charts along with the xp penalty charts yourself; the result will be the same if done correctly. The main reason this is viable now is because of the changes to the xp penalty floor of 2%. In other words, this method is more effective the further you go past level 93.

Oh very interesting. Didn't realize that happened.
If I ever want to play that much, someone do my kids a favor and shoot me.
people that play maps have to trade 1/2 of their playtime
Exactly, and if you combine the trading time with the reduced clearspeed because the map is simply too dangerous to dive in head first with a squishy build, you've got yourself a new fastest way to level. (Atleast for some parts of the 1-100 leveling curve)

you sure that the higher monster density in Lunaris 3 woulndt top the 1 lvl advantage of catacombs?
