Is a Bringer of rain nerf coming?

Came back to see some people spamming this on chat. I can't find anything so I am guessing people are just paranoid since GGG is nerfing anything that is popular? Personally I don't see it as a big difference versus a 5 link with good stats and 20/20 gems but I am sure someone will post as to why it is. Feedback/opinions guys?

A nerf is very unlikely, as it isn't the absolute best item for melee builds. A player using a 6L with 20/20 gems will significantly outdps a BoR user.

Honestly, knowing GGG I wouldn't doubt it get's nerfed.
Pretty amazing how just because an item or gem is good, and lots of people use it, means it needs a nerf. Making people rebuild and readjust every fucking 3-4 weeks is a joke..that's why I decided to quit, and haven't really decided on re-rolling or not yet. |

While I dont think a BoR nerf is coming ive lost 100% of my faith in GGG so expect anything
The price shooting up is because it is an extremely effective unique, one of the best in the game "just for try, for see and for know"

Yes, it along with aegis aurora will likely be nerfed within 2 months but both after spectral is nerfed.
This item is simply too good for the cost and basically allows you ignore the requirement of having a 6 link item to dish out huge dps. IGN: Arlianth

Going 2H with BoR would certainly gimp yourself since you would all the block chance you need to overcome the lack of resistance, unless you are rich enough to buy a super expensive Soul Taker, or jewelries. BoR is too much of a nique item to be nerfed. As for Spectral Throw, it already got nerfed before full release came out. It cannot shotgun, which is a big deal when it comes to supporting the skill with LMP or GMP. Nerf it again, and it will be on par with Arc, and that is enough to make a lost cause. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

" I am not advocating a nerf on any of the things I listed. In fact, I wish GGG would stop with the systematic nerf of all high usage skills and items in the hopes of homogenizing and equalizing builds. What I was expressing is my predictions for future nerfs. Considering the tremendous albeit unwarranted backlash from the codt I doubt they would dare nerf anything for at least 2 more patches which is why i based my estimate for about 2 months. GGG is somewhat new to this, they dont know how to manage a giant game like this
Obviously they are making mistakes and making people uncertain, but its kind of expected "just for try, for see and for know"
