Why is there no "Identify all" character or option?

Well after running out of ID scrolls (about 800) after many Dominus/Piety Loot runs, i asked that myself.
Not that ID scrolls arent available and cheap (They are, could Sell Trans orbs until i get another 1200 ID scrolls), but there are only 3 real scenarios happening atm: 1.) you are at the start of a new league and you cant ID all drops to start raising your currency pool until mid act 1 ~. 2.) you run out of ID Scrolls because you powerfarm Bosses. 3.) You hoard the shit. Tonnes of them. So if you ever run out you only got 3 options: Buy them from a player, Turn in UNID things untill you can trade enough Transmutes for ID Scrolls or try to steadily build up a supply of ID scrolls (which prohibits fast lootruns). I have long maintained if I could drop a grand on this game my unique would be an ID scroll gem. So much more useful than a portal gem.
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

I think being able to run out is the whole point. ID scrolls are valuable so there isn't a character who does it for you.

Probably the best option is to be farming unid's for trans as you level up new chars'?

Some people always turn their spare portal scrolls into transmutes and then when they run out of wisdoms turn the transmutes into wisdoms.
Don't do this. You get more wisdoms if you just vendor the portal scrolls. Once you find a portal gem and can vendor all the portal scrolls it gets a lot better. Since I found mine I've yet to run out of wisdoms. When I kill a man he stays dead.

armor scraps are 1:2 Running an MFer is a pain because you're always running out of scrolls iding the countless garbage that drops. |

You can buy 80+ wisdom scrolls for about an alch. Really not that difficult.

ID scrolls will stay limited, even the diamond supports wouldnt change this.
Limited ID is a powerful anti-bot tool. If you give the bots a way to identify every single thing they find their alt farming supply (and thus the jewels and fuses that vendors will buy alts from) will go through the roof. |
