5-link chance

Commonly accepted values to 5L a 6S range from 1 in 80 to 1 in 100. It was improved a while back. We've been told that they will never release the actual formula.
I generally achieve 5L in less than 100 fusings, post-patch, with 20q items. It's never taken more than 100 and I've gotten something like 6 of them so far.

And I don't think 6L should be reserved only for no lifers.

Luckily I have enough time every day to make Master chain to get 20 fuses just from them.
Eternal orbs are totally different story, I never seen one and I don't understand their incredible low drop rate.

Or you use vorici..
or buy 5l items..

If you like to gamble go, grab some armorer and link it.
If you cant stand it get vorici for 5l or buy it from markets.

A 6l should be something special.
If everybody would get it for nothing game would have no point to play.
We already saw several times in other games the same process.
People are crying for more in less time, then its no more challenge, the locusts move on and the game is dead.
Pulling a number right outta my arse , I would say linking average is half the Vorici cost. I am only saying that because if I were to institute a sure thing into game that revolves around rng, I would do so at a cost that did not make random chance undesirable to try.

Of course I could be completely wrong, and would be ok with that.
I have dropped with 2 slots. I have used around 30 jellewers to put 6S and have tryied with fuse 2 in one time - 6 in another day - 4.... I almost give up and dropped 1 fuse, open the inventory and get 5L. In total, I should spent 50 fuses.

160 for a 5s 5l
I can tell you that these odds are nothing but BS. When you're dropping 200 fuses and don't get even get a 5L, PoE staff just need to go back to the drawing board. It's patently absurd how ridiculously hard/expensive it is to craft a simple 5-socket item; much less a 6-socket item. When you're in end-game already and you're literally just grinding to finish up your items and you grind for endless hours just to upgrade your end-game stuff, it reminds me why I stopped playing this game the last time.

Either come up with a fixed, in-game cost for it or come up with a better (and certainly more fair) solution. Kind of reminds me of X-Com when you're 95% to hit and you miss shooting the enemy like 10 times in a row. <shaking head>

Farm this via Divination Cards (about 20 aqueduct runs? Took me 16, if I didn't lose count):

Buy similar ones like these for 1-3 chaos, or just find it on the ground:

Then you should be able to enter and play most maps.
Then you farm, farm, farm, level, level, level.

Then you buy yourself some 6L or build up the jewel/fusing stacks to do it on your own if you so desire. Or get yourself the 6L astral plate divination cards.

Then you have your luxury late game item, and if your build is fine, nothing can stop you.

Can't believe there is still bitching about 6links in 2.0.
