I rest my case re: fears that certain behaviour patterns might start showing up in the GC as well.

I admire the hell out of you for what you do, Mav, and am the first to say I couldn't.
If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.
I laughed.

"enderstand" is also a funny word.

So Cybrix can act however he wants and it's up to the community to be the bigger man every time?

I happened to be listening to the stream at the time and I didn't say anything mean about cybrix I'm just pointing out that you can't fault people for acting the way they did.

The "PC" way of saying what I meant would be: People dig their own graves. It's easy to point the finger at everyone for their comments and hard to point the finger at Cybrix for his actions. It's almost as if you are adding to the disrespect; however, he was the source of the displeasure brought upon him and for that I, and many others, feel no remorse.

Compare that to Kripp. (Who I'm sorry to say I don't like but somehow am entertained by him) He did not act the same way and therefore was not treated the same way Cybrix was.

It's just a simple cause and effect scenario.

Yeah, I might have overreacted a bit there. It's the personal attacks that gets me though. I'm talking about the really nasty stuff.

But yes, I know what you are getting at. And I agree with it.
Anyway this is just silly :P I'm gonna go play.
Everyone was overreacting.

Cybrix had enough maps, so the "loss" of some to the wealth of the group didnt realy hurt.
Simon asap started shittalk after cybrix overreacting. Seemed like he was waiting for such a situation.
Kripp muted cybrix in mumble instead of let him finish his angry words. Still entertaining for the ppl on stream.

Cybrix complain was about the lack of contribution to the party by simon.
Its understandable but it was based on rng. Easily cybrix could have been the unlucky person.

I still think cybrix is to much a selffish greedy person. Not good for organised Team play in a RNG based environment.
But he can also be a very nice person to party with.

I dont think Kripp is done with him. The most drama comes from simon (kinda evil lurking person) and a bully crowd (still entertaining).

At the end its all just words.

English is my third language, there will be bugs.
men never grow up.

we fight for the dumb shit.

it's been like this for centuries and will be like this forever.

we got dicks.
YES BUT MINE IS BIGGER!

...this thread makes my face sad.

+1.
I'm not a fan of the bullying and I hope cybrix gets over this, but I also hope it teaches him something about humility. He's not a bad person but he has poor character and routinely displayed it. He was simultaneously cocky and ignorant and he was utterly unprofessional and disrespectful to Chris when Kripp had him on for interviews. He needed a wake-up call.
Why is this even on here???? Leave the twitch drama on twitch please.

yea man that chat... lol. I wanted to be a forum admin here so I took on the role to practice answering questions and removing what needed to be and good gravy... its like battle back the water poking through a dam that's about to break some nights :(

I mainly do it for PoE. I started playing PoE and doing the Tribune Podcast a couple months before him, then I saw one day on Twitch he was playing it and I got hooked watching him. He thinks similar to me, I try to do my best and make things work. I die a hell of a lot more often in hardcore than he does but I learn and adapt from my mistakes, so he's taught thousands of us a great deal.

I just pray deeply, once open beta starts.. there's more in game moderators to purge global chat. People think global is bad now.. wait until the flood gates of open beta start in about 30 days.
