Interesting, this is almost the identical build that I have (I have a 250 GTS OC Edition instead of the 460 GTX) and your memory is a little faster 1333 vs 1600 DDR3. I think I did okay. Woot!

i'm broke as a joke and would love a decent spec'd pc, however i'm left with this.

AMD Athlon X2 4400+
2 gig DDR2 corsair ram
ATI Radeon HD 4350
320 Gig HDD

I really need to upgrade, any information on a budget build for this day and age would be much appreciated

my fried is buying a new pc nowadays so i can tell you that at least here ( slovenia ), the "budget" version boils down to about 700 eur ( with 200€ monitor ), while the "thats a sweet rig" version comes to 900-1000eur. not really all that much of a difference if you don't mind spending a bit more for a lot more;)

The only thing im a bit dissapointet with is the Hdd, dont really feel it was worth the buy. Considering a Ssd instead!
Still giving it some thought, cause Ssd isnt cheap :)
