servers not so fixed!?
The same thing has been happening to me for a week now, on the Australian gateway.
Here's a trace route of my latest play session:

I'm not entirely sure what the problem is.
You didn't describe the problem at all. You just said "servers not fixed" with a trace. What exactly is happening (or isn't happening)? Any error messages? That trace is showing quite a bit of packet loss to your ISP. 5% and 6% packet loss over that many packets is quite a large amount. |

I have been playing since closed beta and have never had this problem. Today I can't play for more than 30 seconds then I'm booted to the login screen with "an unexpected disconnection occurred".
Is there some sort of in game debugging we can do? I know my connection is fine. | |
I haven't complained in a while about how bad the game runs because of the fact that Poe is pretty damn solid. But today like right now it's unplayable.Scared to enter maps even .Currently running a cyclone build and am used to the constant desync but tonight is real bad. I'm like just cycloning around, the mobs are standing still watching my life go down.If it were not for the fact of life on hit would be dead hours ago.Every other game running great on my end.Feels like the servers are broken.Dangerous times

getting huge lag spikes...
if I try to remove an item from gear slot - once a while it takes 10seconds to happen. Who Are We? Where do we come from?

im playing from Finland.. ISP is Sonera...
I just did some grinding with a abuddy who is from Netherlands and he sayd he didnt have any lag at all when I lagged for 10seconds. I suppose you have some data packs going through Sonera that they try to block. Please rename the "Jihad" packs please :P Best, Cudez ps. all my Finnish buddies are complaining about the same thing. Who Are We? Where do we come from? Last edited by Cudez#7540 on Dec 17, 2013, 2:16:06 PM

FYI: all of you posting "me too" or whatever aren't actually contributing anything worthwhile to this thread.
In order for anyone to do anything about the problem they need DATA. This comes in the form of WinMTR reports that were running (capturing) when the problems are occurring. Collecting this data, we can find common factors or other possible problems that can possibly be the causes of your issue. Without this data, it's just a bunch of people saying "me too!" which is not helpful at all to finding an actual solution. Since there are plenty of people playing on the servers with absolutely no problem, that goes to reason that the issue is something specific to you or your connection (regionally or otherwise). If it were a server problem or a GGG infrastructure problem, then no one would be playing (and we'd see a LOT more posts). This leads the possible cause being something within your network or region (ISP perhaps). It's the internet, that stuff is usually the cause of the problem. It's much more common to have issues within the ISP or peer network than it is to have a server or infrastructure problem with the game. |
