I noticed he had a lot of desync before the battle, just walking around. I don't get how people with such horrible connections decide to become streamers, or how when they get monetized they don't upgrade their link or setup.
A pro streamer should have a dedicated gaming rig, a dedicated transcoding server, and another computer for chat and monitoring. If you're getting paid to entertain, you can't afford not to have the basics. |

I like both streamers. This is a blow to PoE's publicity, simply put.

Not sure what I just watched or who this person is, looks like he had absolutely no idea how to play PoE and couldn't tell something was wrong the instant he warped from one point of the room to the other - also, even after that, he made no effort to move he just spammed the attack key. Not sure why people would watch something like this, seems like watching toddlers play chess. Maybe I am missing something.

This is disgusting, honestly. I normally don't talk or whine about desync but seeing how thousands of people interested in the game getting their first impression of the game in that kind of way...is disheartening.

I desynced and got warped inside a wall and couldn't move. Unlike Athene, I exited the game before anything could kill me. IGN: Ironmallet

Yeah, he was glitched in the cage, couldn't move. If you get knocked back or hooked, sometimes that happens. You could lightning warp or leap slam out of it I think.

no wittgenstein u are not missing anything.. watching him play was so painfull thats whats bad for poe.. people could think poe is shit.. well it was the player not the game.
