The Purity / New Elemental Aura Changes

It's no surprise that people are upset by change. GGG would have expected it.

They clearly have looked at all builds to see the proportions using which aura. Purity was clearly used by most and they want to encourage more diversity. That's the same reason prismatic rings and +attrib amulets were removed from the last set of leagues.

the same happened in the Formula 1 Vettel is to good for the others and they will

i dont find this good if someone is better then the others then it is so

so here in this game if some or many players are unhappy the could play in a own league which is more difficulty or less difficulty

thats my opinion perhaps if i have a setup that works great and they changed every time a lot of things it is sad, because i will only come and play and have fun

Anyone leveled Purity of Fire or any of the others above 16?

My PoF just got to 16 and it still has only +2% to max fire resists, if it does give +3% or higher that would be brilliant because I've just made a righteous fire build that is working pretty well and would be even better with higher fire resist.

I use Purity mostly to keep my minions alive, because their AI is horrible and they stand in shit which hurts them unless i run two screens away. The plus two to max was a bit of a bonus, for builds where I need the extra resist it is usually to one damage type only.

I think the main problem is that it is not easily exchangeable. The new auras are red, blue and green so if you have a piece of gear with your reduce mana and your auras then you just can't switch the specialist aura gems without re-rolling the socket colours.

I would have preferred if all of the specialist aura gems were of the same colour so you can more easily switch which aura you use.
