Indeed? I wasn't aware since traps don't get + damage from spell damage nodes.
Well, bummer, back to dealing viper strikes, then. Or puncture.

Negative. All traps are considered spells and get silenced, regardless of if they do spell damage :P



Just to add to this, currently summoned totems are disabled when Silence lands too.

I think what people are forgetting to remember is that there are a lot of mobs that puncture, there are lots of mobs that cause some form of bleed, burn damage, chill, freeze, shock, and whatever else.

There's one source of Silence and it can be a death sentence if it comes at the wrong time. I had a situation like OP in Domination. Sitting around for what seemed like 5 hours evading arrows waiting for Silence to tick. Pretty shitty. Can only imagine that happening in Nemesis or maps. I think I'd kill someone.
