Argument for removal of breakable objects

I love the smash. It makes AoE so much more fun.

As a hint for those who hate how long it takes. Shift + Left Click is so much faster, it's unreal.

AoE? Well. That's just smashysmashysmash.

Breakables can sometimes award the best things. But it's true that quite often, they don't. I like it, I don't feel like I'm missing out if I don't break them. But sometimes you can stop and erm... smash the roses?

I think they're fine as they are. Collateral damage makes an ARPG. Whether it's AoE delivered to other enemies. Or vases and barrels. An ARPG at it's core is about carnage. Whether it's from one-shotting with carefully placed abilities, or cackling as you obliterate entire groups.
Breakables just add to the joy of the obliteration. But admittedly add nothing if you're one-shot heavy. No real way to improve that though, unfortunately.

Ed: For those who don't like that method. I believe GGG has already announced they want to speed up the left-click smash method. I believe I saw mention that the Shadow was a trial for this, and smashes a bit quicker. I don't think jar-smashing should alter what class you choose though! Unless of course you're going for a Jar-Smash specialist... *trawls over the passive tree a little*

GGG actually said they are thinking about speeding up animations to do that....and not to mention, you can click a skill on them, and it will break them. You dont have to go one at a time, I just drop a fire storm or rain of arrows usually to destroy them all at once.

I'd also say more breakables if anything.
Id like to see more. For anyone without AOE. yes it is a chore. but ive had GMP and some other needed gems fall out of them in random combat. I always have some form of AOE in my build anyway.
Smoother than Smooth.
Most people have an AOEs or some form of multi hit attack that could apply, such as Freeze Pulse. I dont think everyone knows that you can use said skills to creak barrels and pots and such. I personally use Leap Slam, Arrow Rain, Cleave or Freeze Pulse usually, sometimes Firestorm. It takes away from the chore of walking up to every one and breaking them one by one.
