Is Temporal Chains an effective defensive curse?

I have always used enfeeble but want to try something different for my mara spectral throw guy, so how is temporal chains?

Enfeeble and Temp Chains are my two favorite Def Curses :)

Some people say its better than enfeeble, but i still think enfeeble is better since enemies crit less, miss more, deal less damage and so on, while with temp chains they do stuff slower but if they crit they still crit hard and they dont miss as much. Unless someone can prove otherwise id stick to enfeeble as primary defensive curse unless you are super fast and you kite mobs to live then go with temp chains.

Well. They're the only defensive curses, so you didn't have much of a choice. ;p

enfeeble is by far the best defensive curse - i think it will get a nerf sooner or latter because it includes EVERY defensive mechanism into one cheap skill

temp chains.. i use it on my summoner (from time to time) to make zombies do more killing less chasing around. and i think thats it.

My biggest problem right now with enfeeble is my intelligence is so low on my mara who is lvl 77. I think I would only be able to get enfeeble up to lvl 4 or 5.

I use temp chains on characters that I would rather run away from enemies than tank hits, usually ranged and spell casters. I use enfeeble on melee that I know has to take hits.

temp chains on my cwdt gem... usefull. and with my nearly max block it shows me that i got hit.. wich happens from time to time ;)

Temp chains is not only a good defensive curse, but it also gives offensive bonuses too since it will increase the duration of shock effects and burn effects.

I'd say temp chains if you can tolerate recasting all the time or have whispers of doom, because the curse duration is just too damn low. For general purpose though, enfeeble.
