A Gem (choose name)

This gem performs only 2 things

1) Maximum number of sockets for item type while equipped
2) Full links for said sockets

It would NOT be as good as a "real" 6 link because one of your sockets would be taken up by this gem, so not OP.

The moment you remove the gem, you are back to the original items sockets and links.

You could keep them out of the economy (if desired) by making them BOE, OR a 1 time use).

Also very easy to make, no stats, no artwork, etc etc.

Donna, Noble Axe

Increased Physical Damage % and +damage(enough to make it a decent end-game item)
-50% light radius
Found only in Hardcore Leagues
When your character dies, Donna, Noble Axe is returned to your stash (a message is displayed saying "Donna, Noble Axe has left your inventory. Donna, Noble Axe has been saved."
Only drops in The Library
Flavor text: "Hey, who turned out the lights?"
Name Undecided
Brass Nuckles
Base Type: claws (because it needs a base item)

One Handed Weapon

If you have the Brass Nuckles equipped, you can only have other Brass Nuckles or a Shield in your off-hand.

Damage you deal with the brass nuckles counts as unarmed. (Weapon damage nodes don't affect your damage. Which should be obvious.)

1 max socket

You use lvl x skill (skill still undecided) on hit, each hit costs x mana. Skill is supported by socketed support gem.

Mods are undecided yet, because it needs to be balanced with facebreaker.

Edit: the idea stand, but parts can be changed.

Bloody Buisness- Imperial Maul

150% increased physical damage
25-30% increased attack speed
Gems im this item are supported with 20/20 faster attacks
You take 10% of your remaining HP as direct damage per attack with this weapon
You take 10% of your remaining ES as direct damage per attack with this weapon
50% increased attack speed when on low life
Extra Gore

It doesn't matter how wounded you are, if you're the last man standing

Some clarifications:
"10% of your remaining..." applies to the HP/ES you have at the moment of the attack. If you're on full life you will lose 10% of your full life. If you only have 1000 HP left you will lose 100HP. The same goes for ES. This will lose its effect when youre around 4HP (due to rounding rules )
"direct damage" means it goes through all resistances/armour. You will take that damage, it cant be mitigated
"per attack" don't worry, it still can be used with multistrike since the 3 attacks count as one, afaik (just look at frenzy+multistrike)
Heavy in the morning
Metal in the night
i strongly suggest a non-weapon item that increases the rate at which life leech restores life. life leech is such a key mechanic, and the only option to change it is the completely binary vaal pact, which nobody likes.
