First Grim Dawn Gameplay Video

What do you think? I am a big fan of Titan Quest and Immortal Throne, and it looks like Grim Dawn will be a worthy successor.

I will probably play through the game a couple of times, but because of the lack of multiplayer servers, online will be a hack fest again and will be limited to playing with friends.

Looked pretty crazy. The ragdoll stuff seemed fun.

Environments look more detailed (i don't mean graphics) than PoE. Because they are not random. Other than that, everything looks and sounds at least one league below than current stage of PoE.

We have to consider it's only pre-alpha atm and I think GD will be a good game especially considering it will be single player focused.

But PoE is something else. It will take many many hours from our lives :)

I've been following the game for a while. I was a bit surprised to see their FAQ has been updated to say the alpha may not get released in 2011. That kinda sucks, but oh well, I wish them the best.

you know why?^^ they made this because they take money for a unreleased game.. everyone buys the fan-edition with alpha access thats why they cant release a "alpha"game. the alpha will be more like a open beta or something. a bad thing in my eyes..

reminds me of baldurs gate dark alliance 2 which is always a good thing, but maybe chris can correct me here. if that is pre alpha it is essentially a tech demo. the level of detail makes it look like it is not a tech demo at all, seems strange to me. probably spent extra time just for that video to get people to pre buy alpha access

played a few tech demos and pre alphs before and you usually have place holders for animations or just leave the higher stuff out as its a waste of time to do it just for 1 video

Do you always get surpriesed whenever you see a pre-alpha game's gameplay video that looks polished? Kind of strange...Because these videos always look polished because you market your game.
