So is the word 'cock' permissible in a character name or not?

I just think it's pure mockery that he defends his names with "It's a surname" when he doesn't even use it for that purpose. He means the sexual organ every time. And people are uncomfortable with that sometimes.

The point remains that he's been allowed to use it, but they specifically state that he can get muted to cater to the many instead of catering just to this man and his cocks.

What I mean to say is, don't hide behind stupid excuses lol
All these arguments against Bhavv's character names being allowed are invalid because GGG already said it is allowed.

The only thing it comes down to now is; Will GGG keep their word or go against it?

Or I mean

(b) Personal abuse, foul language, inappropriate subject matter, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory or defamatory remarks of any nature ... are not permitted.

- PoE TOS.

What is more incredible is really they need an internal meeting about this subject. In fairness, this can be a "case study" for any future situations resembling this but its just ridiculous. Personally, if I was Bhavv, I would have submitted my will for the "cock" in my name for the greater good, if it really is offending people, it doesn't really matter if he changes it in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't ruin his experience, but clearly it is ruining others.

Also, despite whatever GGG have said, like I previously quoted, it says this in the naming policy:

"We can remove or change character names or this policy for any reason at any time."

So really GGG can do whatever they like in this situation and they are correct.

I hope they keep their word. It would look bad if people said one thing on the forum and then went and did the opposite.

The thread has a genuine purpose and a topic, so how exactly is it a troll thread?

''Their word'' are what you accept in the TOS which say '' any name can be changed at any moment''.

If I ask GGG does ''King'' is acceptable. They will say yes, of course. Than tomorrow. if it become the most rude word in the English language, they will change it and I won't make a thread about it. I won't say ''yada yada, you said this and that''. I will say ; well, when I decided to play this game, I accepted the TOS and from that point they do what they want.

You mean like agreeing to the ToS and then defaming other players?
