There are some recent studies, mostly of psychological nature, but also some that brought together sociology and psychology that deal with the phenomenon of action against other persons in online games.

One result of those studies was that "player killing" is usually tied to persons with weak social ties and fragile psychological profiles.

This intensifies as the actions become more harsh or senseless. So in PvP situations that actually hold rational rewards the people most enthusiastic in participating usually only show very slight symptoms.
In situations however where PvP is done without any incentive and just for the sake of it the correlation between actual psychological and social disorders and the enthusiasm shown for killing others are of a valid causality.

(It fits into the profile of such a person to have a wish for a gender change or similar things as well and then act out on it in front of strangers.)

So those who insult the OP might want to take a step back. There is not much (s)he can do about this.
