Just curious if anyone else took a minute to read the user comments under the path of exile torrent! flipping hilarious! XD

I was more referring to the fact it's probably quicker just to download the client from the site during a stress test weekend. And if they aren't downloading it then, then they have to buy access anyway.

Yeah,I doubt they uploaded it so you can play without a beta key.Instead,it would be because a torrent is faster.I know it took a long time to download my client from the site,thas fo scho.

The client and the installer are both sized only some low megabytes, and the game containing package file is already distributed by a kind of torrent system, splitted into many simultaneous slots of parallel streams. I doubt it can be distributed faster than it does now. (of course beside in situation with very high amounts of downloads/updates - I cant foresee what impact this would have... but this is one reason why they start the download abilities always some time before an open beta event/weekend begins.)

I never thought I'd be a moderator of any forum online again, but if I must play such a role, let me be ecstatic that it's a forum for a game that actually isn't bothered by the unstoppable existence of piratebay.
These comments are amusing but they have nothing on the kotaku feedback PoE received a few weeks back. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.
